Why Diet Soda UnhealthyIf you reader know that drinking Coca Cola or other soda are good for losing weight thanks to its sugar content that gives us extra calories. But what about your diet or late versions promoted? Are they as good as sold, or is the same “in disguise” for something less harmful? That I try to answer here.

First, consider that the best drink to lose weight and stay healthy is water. According to doctors Vaibhav Gupta and Sarkar Armavir, other beverages – including light refreshments – bring a certain amount of calories, if not spent in physical exercise, or supplement it with healthy eating, weight gain means guaranteed.

The theme is really soft drinks accompanied with salad and fruit diet? Let’s face it, they are the beverage of choice to accompany the pizzas, burgers and fries right? It’s not just what and how much you drink but how we accompany these beverages with our meals. Clearly, the drinks are the best companions if we want a healthier life.

Another reason that diet soda is not healthy to do with its components. Among them are the following side effects:

-Aspartame: it is related to brain and nerve damage
-Cyclamates: According to studies, has caused cancer in laboratory rats and therefore, it became banned in some countries.
-Saccharin, which can cause allergies and is carcinogenic in large quantities consumed
-Sucralose, with effects such as migraine, anxiety and weight gain

With this background in view, many would argue that diet drinks are worse than no diet drinks. While sugar itself does not provide for their properties often cause increased appetite and therefore lead us to eat more, not forgetting that can be addictive: who does not know anyone addicted to Coca Cola, for example ?

Anyway, it is clear the myth that soft light increase blood glucose. This is because diet and light beverages have their sweet flavor thanks to artificial sweeteners, which “trick” our taste buds into thinking we have consumed sugar. We could say that diet soda in themselves do not cause weight gain but may lead to it. I think not necessary to add anything else if you do not repeat the same thing: if you want a healthier life from every point of view, turns to water.
